1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how ScienceX Innovations LLP ("ScienceX", "we", "our", or "us") collects, receives, uses, stores, shares, protects, retains, and processes personal data through its websites, registration portals, Olympiads, assessments, educational programmes, courses, publications, scientific products, events, and digital services.
This Policy applies to students, parents, lawful guardians, schools, principals, teachers, coordinators, customers, website visitors, subscribers, and other individuals whose personal data is processed by ScienceX.
It covers services operated by ScienceX Innovations LLP through its relevant divisions and programmes, including ScienceX Education, ScienceX Olympiads, ScienceX Publications, ScienceX Robotics & Scientific Systems, and other ScienceX-operated services.
Where ScienceX determines the purpose and means of processing personal data, it acts as the Data Fiduciary under applicable Indian data-protection law.
ScienceX maintains its privacy framework with reference to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, and other applicable legal requirements, taking account of their respective commencement dates.

3. Children's Data and Mandatory Parental Consent
ScienceX recognises that many participants in its educational programmes and Olympiads are children below 18 years of age.
For ScienceX school-based registrations, parental or lawful-guardian consent is mandatory for every participating student below 18 years of age.
Participating schools must obtain the prescribed consent before submitting the child's personal data to ScienceX for examination registration, assessment, reporting, certification, or related programme administration.
Schools and authorised coordinators are responsible for maintaining appropriate consent records and following the verification procedure communicated by ScienceX.
Where applicable law requires verifiable parental or lawful-guardian consent, ScienceX will apply the legally required verification mechanism. A declaration by a school or coordinator does not remove any additional verification obligation imposed by law.
Consent for optional activities, including publicity, photographs, testimonials, or promotional communications, is separate from consent required for core examination participation.
ScienceX will not undertake tracking or behavioural monitoring of children, or targeted advertising directed at children, except where a specific lawful exemption applies.

ScienceX may use examination-security and monitoring measures appropriate to the examination format and associated risks.
For physical examinations, such measures may include candidate verification, attendance records, pre-filled OMR sheets, examination paper codes, invigilation records, and incident reports.
For online or technology-enabled examinations, additional monitoring may include authentication records, IP addresses, device and browser information, examination activity logs, and other proportionate security measures.
Where webcam, audio, screen recording, or other enhanced monitoring is proposed, ScienceX will provide an appropriate notice and establish the required lawful basis before such processing is introduced.
Monitoring involving children will be subject to applicable children's data-protection requirements.

Users may refer to the applicable ScienceX Cookie Policy for further information about cookie categories, purposes, and available controls.

Where consent is withdrawn, ScienceX will cease the relevant consent-based processing and take appropriate steps concerning its processors, unless continued processing is required or otherwise authorised by law.
Withdrawal does not invalidate processing lawfully completed before the withdrawal.
Where withdrawal affects information necessary to provide an ongoing service, ScienceX will explain the relevant consequences where appropriate.
Parents or lawful guardians may exercise applicable rights relating to their children's personal data in accordance with legal requirements.
Requests may be submitted through the official ScienceX privacy or support contact channels.
11. Public Recognition, Awards, and Testimonials

The publication of a child's photograph, video, testimonial, or other optional promotional material requires appropriate separate parental or lawful-guardian consent.

ScienceX may provide services to users and participating institutions outside India.
Personal data may be processed in India or in other locations where ScienceX or its authorised service providers operate, subject to applicable law.

Where additional local legal requirements apply to a particular service or jurisdiction, ScienceX will address those requirements as applicable.
14. Personal Data Breaches
ScienceX maintains procedures for identifying, assessing, containing, investigating, and responding to suspected personal-data breaches.
Where a personal-data breach occurs, ScienceX will take appropriate steps to mitigate the incident, protect affected information, and maintain relevant records.
ScienceX will notify affected Data Principals and the Data Protection Board of India where and in the manner required by applicable law.

Individuals may contact ScienceX for privacy-related questions, correction requests, consent withdrawal, erasure requests, or concerns about personal-data processing.
