Last Updated: 21 October 2026
Policy Version: 2.1
1. Introduction
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how ScienceX Innovations LLP ("ScienceX", "we", "our", or "us") processes, prepares, packs, dispatches, ships, and delivers physical products and educational materials through its divisions, including ScienceX Education, ScienceX Olympiads, ScienceX Publications, and ScienceX Robotics & Scientific Systems.
This Policy applies to physical products and materials ordered, purchased, or distributed through ScienceX-operated websites, registration portals, and authorised sales channels, including:
- ScienceX Lab in a Box and other science experiment kits.
- Robotics, electronics, and educational technology kits.
- Books, publications, and printed learning resources.
- Teacher resource kits and institutional learning materials.
- Olympiad study material and practice resources.
- Certificates, medals, trophies, and awards.
- Merchandise and promotional materials.
- Scientific posters, charts, and laboratory resources.
- Confidential examination materials supplied to authorised schools.
- Other physical educational products and materials.
This Policy should be read together with the ScienceX Refund & Cancellation Policy, applicable product descriptions, Terms of Service, and programme-specific instructions.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.
2. Order Processing
Orders are ordinarily processed after successful payment verification, order confirmation, and verification of the information required for fulfilment.
Processing time may vary depending on product availability, manufacturing or assembly requirements, quality inspection, customisation, order volume, public holidays, and operational circumstances.
Customised certificates, medals, trophies, school kits, institutional orders, and made-to-order products may require additional preparation time before dispatch.
Where a product is temporarily unavailable or a material delay is anticipated, ScienceX will endeavour to inform the customer and provide available fulfilment options.
3. Dispatch and Delivery Timelines
Estimated dispatch and delivery timelines will be displayed or communicated during the ordering process, in the order confirmation, or through an applicable product or programme notice, where available.
Unless expressly identified as guaranteed, delivery estimates are indicative and may vary due to:
- Product availability and inventory replenishment.
- Manufacturing, assembly, or customisation requirements.
- Quality-control and safety inspections.
- Peak examination or academic seasons.
- Large school or institutional orders.
- Destination and courier serviceability.
- Public holidays and logistics disruptions.
- Other reasonable operational circumstances.
Where a significant delay occurs, ScienceX will provide reasonable assistance and information about the revised delivery status.
Where ScienceX cannot fulfil an order within an agreed delivery period, the customer may be entitled to an appropriate remedy under the Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.
4. Courier, Postal, and Logistics Partners
ScienceX may engage authorised third-party courier, postal, freight, transportation, or logistics providers to fulfil deliveries.
Delivery partners may be selected based on serviceability, shipment type, cost, reliability, safety, and operational requirements.
Where tracking facilities are available, the relevant shipment tracking number, airway bill (AWB) number, or tracking link may be communicated through the registered contact details or order portal.
ScienceX will share only the personal information reasonably necessary for shipment processing, delivery, tracking, and related customer support, subject to applicable data-protection requirements.
5. Delivery Locations and International Shipping
ScienceX delivers to locations where suitable logistics services are reasonably available and where shipment of the relevant product is legally and operationally permissible.
Delivery availability may depend on the destination, product type, courier coverage, government restrictions, transport conditions, and other relevant circumstances.
International shipping, where offered, may require additional documentation, customs clearance, duties, import taxes, handling charges, or compliance with destination-country requirements.
Any charges payable by the recipient that are known to ScienceX will be disclosed where reasonably practicable before purchase.
Customers are responsible for complying with applicable import requirements and paying any clearly disclosed destination charges legally payable by them.
6. Shipping Charges
Applicable shipping, packaging, handling, or delivery charges will be displayed or communicated before the order is confirmed, where such charges can reasonably be determined.
Shipping charges may depend on:
- Product dimensions, weight, and packaging requirements.
- Delivery destination and serviceability.
- Courier or logistics charges.
- Order quantity and institutional shipment size.
- Special handling or insurance requirements.
- Promotional offers or free-shipping eligibility.
- Applicable taxes and statutory charges.
ScienceX will not ordinarily impose an undisclosed shipping charge after payment without informing the customer and obtaining agreement where required.
Any additional charges arising from an authorised change of delivery address, failed delivery attributable to the recipient, or requested special shipping service will be communicated before the relevant service is undertaken.
7. Delivery Address and Recipient Information
Customers and participating institutions must provide complete, accurate, and current delivery information, including as applicable:
- Recipient name.
- School or organisation name, where applicable.
- Building, house, or premises details.
- Street, locality, and landmark where necessary.
- City and district.
- State or union territory.
- Postal PIN code.
- Country, where applicable.
- Working contact number.
- Relevant school or institutional delivery instructions.
Customers should notify ScienceX promptly if an address correction is required before dispatch.
Where delivery fails because of materially incorrect information provided by the customer, reasonable additional re-dispatch charges may apply after the customer has been informed.
ScienceX will investigate delivery failures attributable to its own processing or dispatch errors and provide an appropriate remedy without unfairly transferring those costs to the customer.
8. Delivery Attempts and Undelivered Shipments
Delivery partners may make one or more delivery attempts according to their operating procedures.
If delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unavailable, the address is incorrect, delivery is refused, or access to the premises is restricted, the shipment may be held, rescheduled, or returned to the sender.
ScienceX will review returned shipments and communicate the available options, which may include:
- Correction of the delivery address.
- Re-dispatch of the shipment.
- Collection through an authorised delivery arrangement.
- Cancellation or refund where applicable.
Additional re-dispatch charges may apply where the failure was attributable to incorrect information or circumstances within the recipient's control, subject to applicable law.
9. Inspection and Acknowledgement Upon Delivery
Recipients are encouraged to inspect the external condition of the package at the time of delivery.
If a package appears damaged, opened, tampered with, wet, crushed, or otherwise compromised, the recipient should, where reasonably practicable:
- Record the visible condition of the package.
- Take photographs of the packaging and shipping label.
- Retain the original packaging and contents.
- Report the concern promptly to ScienceX.
- Provide the order or consignment reference.
For laboratory kits, scientific instruments, or electronics, customers should avoid using visibly damaged or potentially unsafe components until the matter has been reviewed.
Acknowledgement of delivery does not automatically remove the customer's rights concerning hidden defects, missing items, or other matters protected by applicable law.
10. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Incomplete Products
Customers may request assistance where a delivered product is damaged, materially defective, incomplete, incorrect, or materially different from its published description.
Customers are encouraged to submit such claims within seven (7) days of delivery to facilitate prompt verification and resolution.
This reporting period does not limit mandatory consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law.
After reviewing the claim, ScienceX may provide an appropriate remedy, including:
- Supply of missing items or components.
- Repair or replacement of defective components.
- Replacement of the affected product.
- Correction of an incorrect shipment.
- Refund of the applicable amount.
- Another appropriate remedy agreed with the customer.
ScienceX may reasonably request photographs, videos, invoice details, batch information, or inspection of the affected product.
Returns, replacements, and refunds will also be governed by the applicable ScienceX Refund & Cancellation Policy and relevant consumer-protection requirements.
11. Lost, Misdelivered, or Untraceable Shipments
Where a shipment is reported as lost, misdelivered, or untraceable, ScienceX will investigate the matter using available dispatch records, delivery confirmations, tracking information, and courier correspondence.
Customers should provide the order or consignment reference and any relevant delivery information.
Where an order has not been delivered because of a verified loss or error attributable to ScienceX or its delivery arrangements, ScienceX will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, re-dispatch, or refund, subject to applicable law.
A shipment marked as "Delivered" by a courier will not automatically be treated as conclusively received where the customer raises a credible non-delivery complaint.
ScienceX may request reasonable verification before resolving a disputed delivery.
12. Delays and Circumstances Beyond Reasonable Control
Shipping and delivery may be affected by events outside the reasonable control of ScienceX, including:
- Natural disasters, floods, or earthquakes.
- Severe weather or transport disruption.
- Public-health emergencies.
- Government restrictions or regulatory action.
- Courier or transportation strikes.
- Political or civil disturbances.
- Customs clearance delays.
- Infrastructure failures.
- Other force majeure circumstances.
ScienceX will make reasonable efforts to communicate material delays and coordinate with relevant logistics providers to resolve delivery issues.
Nothing in this section excludes a customer's right to an appropriate remedy where such a remedy is required by applicable law.
13. Digital Delivery of Educational Resources
Certain ScienceX products and services may be delivered electronically, including:
- E-books and digital publications.
- Downloadable PDFs and practice papers.
- Question banks and online learning resources.
- Online courses and digital educational content.
- Certificates and academic performance reports.
- Other digital resources or services.
Digital materials may be provided through registered email addresses, authenticated ScienceX websites, or authorised school and student portals.
Users should maintain accurate contact information and protect their account credentials.
Where digital content is not delivered or accessible because of a verified ScienceX service issue, ScienceX will provide reasonable technical assistance or an appropriate remedy.
Digital products are also subject to the relevant provisions of the ScienceX Refund & Cancellation Policy.
14. Special Provisions for Olympiad Examination Materials
Physical examination materials dispatched to participating schools, including question papers, pre-filled OMR answer sheets, attendance records, examination instructions, and return-material documents, are subject to additional confidentiality and examination-security requirements.
14.1 Authorised Receipt
Examination consignments must be received by the authorised School Centre Coordinator, Principal, or designated school representative.
The receiving school must inspect the outer packaging, verify the consignment details, and report visible damage, shortages, incorrect materials, or suspected tampering promptly through the official ScienceX examination support channel.
14.2 Secure Custody
Confidential examination materials must be stored securely with access restricted to authorised school personnel.
Sealed question-paper packets must not be opened before the time permitted under the official examination instructions.
14.3 October and November Examination Sessions
Where ScienceX conducts separate October and November examination sessions, schools must maintain separate custody and handling of materials for each session.
Materials intended for one examination session must not be substituted for another session without written authorisation from ScienceX.
Question papers and confidential materials must not be photographed, scanned, uploaded, reproduced, or circulated in a manner that could compromise examination integrity.
14.4 Return of Examination Materials
Completed OMR sheets, attendance records, incident reports, and other required examination documents must be packed, sealed, and returned in accordance with the official Centre Coordinator and Invigilator Instructions.
Schools must comply with the communicated return-dispatch deadline and retain available tracking or dispatch acknowledgement details.
Unused question papers, unused OMR sheets, and other confidential materials must be returned, securely retained, or disposed of only as authorised by ScienceX.
14.5 Student Data Protection
Student lists, pre-filled OMR sheets, attendance records, and related documents may contain personal data.
Participating schools must protect these records, restrict access to authorised personnel, and comply with applicable ScienceX privacy and examination data-handling requirements.
Schools must obtain mandatory parental or lawful-guardian consent for participating students below 18 years of age in accordance with ScienceX registration requirements.
15. Policy Updates
ScienceX may amend this Shipping & Delivery Policy to reflect changes in law, logistics arrangements, products, services, or operational procedures.
Updated versions will be published on the official ScienceX website with the applicable effective date and version information.
Changes will not be applied retrospectively to remove accrued statutory rights or unfairly alter completed orders contrary to applicable law.
